It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tim Bailey 65 of Knox. Though his life was tragically cut short, Tim’s spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Tim was the cherished son of Richard and Gracie Bailey. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents and his brothers, Dennis and William.
In 1980, Tim married the love of his life, Jill Williams. Together, they created a warm and loving home, dedicating themselves to raising their two children, Amy Weaver and Timothy Bailey II. Tim was a devoted husband and father, always finding joy in supporting his family and creating lasting memories. He took immense pride in his roles as a husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.
Tim painted the Cape Hatteras lighthouse in the summer of 1983. He was known for painting Belfast Moorhead lake railroad trains and the Unity train station. Tim spent many years working as a painter for Winchester painting, where he was known for his dedication and craftsmanship.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Jill, his daughter Amy, and his son Timothy II. He was also a proud grandfather to his granddaughter, Shoshanna Dallal. Siblings Steven, Linda, Dickie, Poncho, Sandy, Larry and Rocky. Tim had a bonus daughter/niece Kari Henry, whom he adored. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom adored him.
Tim Bailey may have departed from this world, but his spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts. We will miss him dearly and cherish the memories he left behind.
