Raymond Gerald Carson

August 13, 1941 – October 24, 2025

Raymond G. Carson, 84, of Troy, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield. He was born on August 13, 1941, in Unity, Maine, the son of Natalie (Jellison) and Ansel Carson.

Raymond served three years in the U.S. Army and later worked as a truck driver for many years. He also enjoyed working in the woods with his father.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Curtis Carson; daughter Sarah Bagdy and her husband William, of Troy; son Travis Carson, of Brooks; and sister Linda Tracy and her husband Earl, of Ellsworth. Nephew Scott Tracy and wife Lori, of Ellsworth.  He is also survived by grandchildren Mason Kenney and fiancé Madison Roux of Thorndike, Connor Raven and husband Scott of Unity, Colton Conroy, of Brooks, and three great-grandchildren Aubree Rand, Carter Rand and Ashtyn Raven. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Natalie and Ansel Carson.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on his tribute wall.
