Daniel Scott Vaillancourt Obituary

Daniel Scott Vaillancourt, 63 of Knox, Maine went suddenly to be with his Lord Monday, October 20, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lorri Vaillancourt, Knox, ME and son Scott Vaillancourt and wife Megan, Unity, son Marcus Vaillancourt, Knox, Maine, and the joy of his life, his first grandson, Oliver Vaillancourt 2 1/2, son of Scott and Megan. He is also survived by his mother Bonnie Vaillancourt Deister, Sacramento, CA and his dad David Edward Vaillancourt, Eugene, OR. He is predeceased by his step father of 35 years, Elmer Lee Cornlius, Ferndale, CA. Daniel has two brothers and a sister and their spouses surviving him. Michael David Vaillancourt and wife Pam, Sacramento, CA, Andrew John Vaillancourt and wife Tiffany, Sacramento, CA, sister Amy Lynn Gomes and husband Greg, Ferndale, CA, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.


A celebration of life was held in Thorndike, ME on November 15th which was attended by many friends and family. Daniel enjoyed live music and attended many concerts including his favorite band the Grateful Dead, one of his fondest memories was meeting Jerry Garcia. He also enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, gardening, and watching football (Patriots and Raiders). He will be forever missed.
