Richard was born to Roy Young, Sr and Edna Young in Searsport, Maine on March 14, 1954. He passed away at Orono Commons on September 17, 2025.
He leaves behind his siblings: Pearl Moulton, Roy Young, Jr and his wife Patricia, Priscilla Young, Rodney Young and his wife Hazel. He also leaves behind his daughter Amanda Benitez and her husband Liso, and grandchildren, along with many other family members.
There will be a graveside committal on October 5, 2025.
