Viola C. Wheeler passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 97. 

She was born to Leander Canning and Iva (Wing) Canning on May 6, 1928.

For many years, she worked for Belfast Shoe Company and then for Moss Tent as a stitcher.

Her sweet, kind nature gained her many friends, and she was much loved by her family. 

She is survived by her sons, Larry Robbins of Belmont, Jerry Robbins (wife Dianne) of Belfast and Gary Robbins (wife Dawn) of Bangor, many grandchildren, great-grand children and great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fredric Wheeler, and daughter, Linda Moody. 

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Grove Cemetery.
