Bill left this world at 97 years old. He was a wonderful and caring father and grandfather.
He attended Drexel University, served in the US Coast Guard and graduated from Rutger’s University College of Agriculture. He was a faculty member at Rutgers University as well as an extension specialist in arboriculture. Upon retirement he was appointed to the position of professor emeritus. His hobbies were traveling, sailing, reading, and performing as a clown.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth Oberholtzer and his wife Ann-Marie, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will be celebrating Bill’s life privately.
