Obituary of Dale Edward Cassell

Dale Edward Cassell, 86, of Belfast, ME, passed away peacefully after illness on May 23, 2025. He was born on January 16, 1939 in Milford, CT to the late Calvin and Florence Cassell.

Dale grew up in Woodmont, CT and graduated in 1954 from Milford High School. He raced motocross in the 1960’s to early 70’s and remained an avid athlete till his late years, playing tennis and competitive pickleball. After a career in sales for Jones Chemicals, he spent much of his retirement cruising and discovering North America with Sally in “Big Mama” their RV. At 70, Dale accomplished his dream of earning his pilot’s license. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dale leaves behind his wife Sally Anne Cassell of Belfast, ME, daughters Holly Cassell of Encinitas, CA and Robin Page of Dillon, CO, brother Colin Cassell and spouse Constance Cassell of Gig Harbor, WA and brother Bruce Cassell and spouse Sally Endleman of Milford, CT, grandchildren Gage and Scarlett Cassell of Danielson, CT, several nieces and nephews and extended family members Samantha Carini, and Damon and Cheryl Pearce. He was also preceded in death by his older brother Alan C. Cassell and his son, Keith A. Cassell of Danielson, CT.

A celebration of life will take place in CT over the summer.
