Obituary of Joshua Cory Stacey

Joshua Cory Stacey, 44, of Jackson, Maine passed away on April 16, 2025.  He was born on March 19, 1981, in Glenwood Springs, CO to Norman Stacey and Diane Stacey.  Josh is survived by his parents, Norman and Diane, Kristie Anderson, his partner for many years, and her children and his two daughters Natalee Ann Stacey (and granddaughter River)-Aptos, CA and Kaylee Stacey-Ben Lomond, CA. Josh is also survived by his many uncles, aunts and cousins in Maine and from other states across the US.  

Josh found a way to share his beautiful and loving heart with many, which was a wonderful gift. When able, Josh would freely give help to anyone in need. He had a contagious laugh that cheered up those around him and a hug that made one feel loved.  Josh enjoyed many different sports when he was younger and later found special interest in gardening and foraging for wild mushrooms or other wild edible plants. He loved nature. He had a variety of experiences in industrial and residential construction and electrical and spent many years with Able Electric in San Jose & Santa Clara, CA and Bay Coating in Searsmont, ME.  

It is with love and a heavy heart for our son that we must say goodbye to his physical journey and wish him peace and love on his journey to come. A small service for close family will be held at the Riposta Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. Riposta Funeral Home address: 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, Maine 04915.
