Dear Emily and Laura,
Kate joins me in sending our deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother.
I just saw her last summer at a Waterfall Arts event and she was her typical somewhat shy but bubbly self. She talked about her grandchildren with great love.
Kate loved her as an art teacher and she went out of her way to help Kate with her portfolio. Kate and I took a watercolor class from her and the paintings we did hang in my house. I also have Christmas ornaments a bunch of Laura's classmates' mothers made one year with Lynette.
