Obituary of Adam B. Bishop
Adam B. Bishop 52 of Swanville, Me passed away peacefully from Advanced Congestive Heart Failure at home surrounded by his family and loved ones on February 9th, 2025.
Adam was born in Bangor Maine to Cassandra Bishop and Gerrald Bishop on April 14th, 1972. He grew up in the Waldo County area with his siblings Terry, Bub and Tracey. He married his high-school sweetheart Tamara and went on to have 3 beautiful children Eric, Mariah, and Andrea.
He worked several jobs growing up like blueberry raking, clamming, painting houses and in the woods until he started at Fisher Engineering as a welder then going on to become night supervisor. This was the one job he absolutely loved.
When not working he loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren, also close friends. Helped to go camping, playing Texas hold-em or just playing cards with his family and friends.
He is survived by his high-school sweetheart and love of his life, his wife of 35yrs Tamara. His 3 children, son Eric Bishop, his wife Ariel and 3 children Bodhi, Landon, and Freya of Searsport, ME. His daughter Mariah Bishop Her fiancé Evan Bryant and 3 children Aerial, Silas and Eoghan of Machiasport, ME. His. Daughter Andrea Bishop fiancé Dakota Cooper of Searsmont, ME. His father Gerald Bishop of Stockton Springs, ME. Sister Terry Lynn Bishop of Frankfort, ME, her daughter his niece Crystal Bishop of Stockton Springs, ME. Brother Tracey Bishop, wife Cassie and their son his nephew Jessie Bishop of Dixmont, ME. Adopted parents Charlend and Katie Howard of Stockton Springs, ME .His aunt Cindy Mchugh, husband Don and their children Mike and Greg their wives and children of N.H. Cousins David Hewson of Mass. and Kevin Hewson his wife and son of N.H. Cousin Brenda Bryant husband Eric and their daughter Shiann of Swanville, ME. His Adopted children Ben, Karl, Matt and Jill. His childhood best friend John Seekins wife Tracey of Searsport, ME.
He is preceded in life by his loving mother Cassandra Bishop, brother Jerry Bishop and Aunt and Uncle Alan and Virginia Hewson.
