Obituary of Linda Anne Miller
Linda Anne Reardon Miller
Linda Anne Reardon Miller, 72, of Swanville, Maine, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Bangor, Maine. She was the wife of the late Norman Robert Miller Jr., and the devoted mother of David Miller, Norman Miller III, and Stephen Miller. She was happy to become the mother-in-law of David's wife Cayla, Norman's wife Maria and Stephen's wife Sarah.
She was born in Portland, Maine to Eleanor Charles and Phillip Reardon. She is survived by her siblings, Phil, Julie, Richard, Mike, and Tony Reardon, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Linda cherished her role as a Grammie to Oliver, Eve, and Rose, who brought immense joy to her life. She enjoyed the last seven years of her life living with David, Cayla, Oliver, Eve, and Rose, bringing her much joy and peace.
Her Christian faith was an integral part of her life, providing her with strength and guidance. Family was always her top priority, and she cherished the time she spent with her loved ones. She will be remembered as being one of the most kind and generous people a person could ever hope to meet. Linda faced many unfair physical challenges in her life but she always put others first as a rule. She handled the challenges of her life with grace, resilience, and strength. She loved her family, the music of Bobby Darin, The Pirates of Penzance and Les Miserables. She hated peas.
Per her own request, there will be no funeral services. Please remember her in your own way, especially when you hear Somewhere Beyond the Sea, her favorite song.
Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. If anyone wishes to donate to a charity in her name, she would appreciate anything that helps people. Her family suggests World Central Kitchen, who work to bring meals to people affected by natural disasters and war both in the US and all over the world.
