SEARSPORT - LuAnn P. Seamans, 69, died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Sussman House in Rockport after a period of declining health. She was born March 29, 1955, in Belfast, the daughter of Raymond and Lucille (Andrews) Seamans of Belfast.

She was a member of the BAHS Class of 1973 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History after attending Universities in Virginia, Idaho and Maine. LuAnn loved to travel and spent three weeks in Europe following her high school graduation. She would return to Europe and Great Britain several times over the years and was very interested in English history. LuAnn was an avid knitter and created many wonderful gifts for her family and friends.

LuAnn was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Christopher and Logan Achorn of Searsport; brother Raymond and his wife, Regina, of Prospect and her devoted friend Louise. At LuAnn’s request there will be no service. A private gathering at her home will be held at a later date.
