Obituary of Edgar Russell Crowley

Edgar R. Crowley 82, passed away peacefully January 26, 2025 at Oak Grove Center in Waterville. He was born August 5, 1942 in Addison to Russell And Florence A. (Gray) Crowley.

He served in the army during the Vietnam Conflict. He drove the school bus for Hope School. He retired from his self-owned business, Ed's Heating Service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 43 in Belfast. He enjoyed country music, dancing, and camping.

In addition to his wife Sharon Roderick, he is survived by his children, Jean Marie Crowley of Independence, Missouri, and Russell H. Crowley of Searsmont; sister Iona Crowley and her husband Mike Ingersoll of Bangor. Two nephews and their families. He is also survived by the great grandson of his wife, Colton Thomas, Who says "he was the best bus driver ever and I love you, Grampy." 

He was predeceased by his parents.

At Ed's request there will be no services. Burial will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta later this Spring.
