Obituary of Debra Louise Pendleton
MY CRAZY OLD BAT
May 26th 1956-January 24th 2025
“In twilight's hush, where shadows play, lived a crazy old bat, in her own sweet way. She donned a red felt hat, a wacky delight, And danced through life, with a twinkle in her sight.
Her kids and grandkids, oh how they adored, This wild and fun-loving matriarch, forever more. She'd puff on that sweet leaf, with a grin so wide, And spin tales of wonder, that would make their eyes glide.
But beware, ye young'uns, of her trusty wooden spoon, For she'd chase you 'round the house, with a cackle and a croon. She'd scare you half to death, with a wink and a wiggle of her ear, But deep down, you knew she loved you, and that her heart was always near.
This crazy old bat, with her red felt hat so bright, Lived life on her own terms, with a spirit that shone like a light. She'd laugh and she'd love, and she'd live life with glee, And her family would cherish her, wild and crazy, forever to be.”
