Theona A.(Pony) (Hall) Stubbs

Of Monroe, Maine

Born May 21, 1932, in Brooks Me.

Left this world January 12, 2025.

Pony was predeceased by her husband Alton (Pink) Stubbs and her parents, Galen & Thelma Hall.

She was one of 13 children , predeceased by five siblings, Erlon, Corrine, Lorna, Roderick and Donna

her great granddaughter Georgia. She is survived by seven of her brothers and sisters, Aubrey Paul,

Sharlene, Ronald, Gerald, Sharon, Carol and Luella.

She was the mother of three children, Doreen Lindsay of Brewer, Deborah Stubbs of Brooks, & Bruce

Stubbs of Monroe.

She had six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. They are Steven Lindsay and wife

Jeannette and family; Terri Boulier and family; Jeffery Bishop and wife Billy Jo and family; Alan Bishop

and family; Ethan Stubbs and wife Ashley and family; Abigail Sampson and husband Ryan and

family. She is also survived by her brother in law Hilton Hanson.

Mom was a hard worker all her life. Delivered mail from Brooks to Monroe twice a day. She was

involved with the Eastern Star, Harvest Home Grange, Varney Fellowship and other Town activities.

With her husband Pink Stubbs in 1967 started the Harvest Valley Snowmobile club. With her

husband, she was part of establishing the Ambulance EMT and served 36 years on the ambulance.

She would be there for anyone who needed help. Her large family & many friends will miss her.

A celebration of life will be held March 1st at 2:00 PM in the Varney Building in Brooks.
