Obituary of Nancy Lillian Beal

Nancy Lillian Wilbur Beal passed away peacefully January 2, 2025 at Harbor Hill Assisted Living, where she was known as "the smile lady" who collected smiles as she made visits to residents who might not have visitors. She was born in Ellsworth April 1, 1938 to Alton and Marguerite (Mace) Wilbur. Nancy not only raised five children through the 60s, 70s and 80s, but also lived her calling to be a pastor's wife with kindness, generosity, and great faith. She was well known for her beautiful voice, joyful laughter, homemade cornbread, and regular deliveries of her cookies and brownies to police and fire stations in each community where she and her husband served.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 63 years David, sister Lorna, brother Brud, daughters Gayleen and Conni, and nephew Tim. If you are inclined to send flowers, Nancy prefered the silk kind.
