There were many days into years when I was a little girl my mother would bundle me up and off to Georgia and Bud’s house I’d go for what we would now call daycare. I remember many things about those years like Georgia’s great cooking, watching I Love Lucy if I took a nap afterwards, wonderful cooking, looking for tadpoles, watching her do the laundry in an old ringer washing machine, going out in the boat on Megunticook for fishing after Bud got out of work, visiting farms and friends of theirs among many memories. Such as being teased by Fred and Tommy and running into Poison Ivy! I also felt at home at the end of the road they lived on and the many adventures that helped form my character and curiosity as an adult. I am sorry I did not come to visit over the years as I guess life takes us separate ways. My my young self still loves you dearly for all the kindness and love you showed me.
