Obituary of John Louis Russo

John Louis Russo (66) passed away in his Lincolnville home on February 4, 2022. He was the son of Jane E. Russo and the late John Francis Russo. John was born and raised in Camden, Maine and was a 1974 graduate of Camden-Rockport High School. Following graduation, he joined the Air Force and was stationed at Lackland, Beale, and Minot Air Force bases before returning to midcoast Maine, where he resided for most of his life. John worked as a master electrician, starting his own company, JAM Electric, in the late 1980s. He enjoyed coaching his children's Busline League soccer and basketball teams, as well as JV Baseball at CRHS. Even when he wasn't coaching, he was an enthusiastic spectator, making the effort to travel to as many "away" games as possible. John's passion was fishing. He worked as a Registered Maine Guide at Northern Outdoors in The Forks, where he made many friends. He also competed in the Bassmaster Elite Series Tour and enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends and family. John enjoyed cooking for his family as well. In addition to his mother, John is survived by his siblings, Paul (Carolyn), Steven (Sandra), Andrew, and Heidi Russo; his children, John Russo (Kara) and Adrienne Ryan (David); his grandchildren, Brady, Avery, Amber, and Owen Russo; his former spouses, Michelle Keller and Julie Brooks; his aunt, Eileen Crosby; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
