JANA (LUCE) DOHERTY, 43, died unexpectedly February 27, 2010 at her residence in Belfast. She was born in Belfast November 1, 1966, the daughter of David and Judith (Pingree) Luce. She graduated from Husson College with a degree in accounting and worked at Ames Corporation where she received an award as of Employee of the Year, also worked at the Comfort Inn and the Town of Searsmont. She enjoyed dancing, the beach, her friends and family. She had a personal relationship with her Lord and enjoyed spending private time. She also loved her children and following them around through all their local sporting events. Jana is survived by her husband of 16 years, Dennis Doherty of Belfast; her son Ben Luce of Martha’s Vineyard and Janden Doherty of Belfast; a step-son, Dennis Doherty II of Massachusetts; brother Dale Luce and wife Christie of Searsport and James Luce and wife RoAnn of Liberty; a niece and nephew.
