MILLINOCKET - Mary C. (Kittrick) Simpson, 80, died May 30, 2011, in Millinocket. Mary was born April 19, 1931, in Millinocket, the daughter of Mary Jeannette (Larkin) and Leo Lawrence Kittrick. Mary was known as Ticka to her friends. She was a hardworking, honest, unassuming woman, who took great joy in her family, especially her five grandchildren. Mary had many good friends in Millinocket and afar. She will be missed. Mary was predeceased by a daughter, Susan, in 1969; and her husband, Bob, in 2010. She leaves a son, Robert L. Simpson and his wife, Cindy, of Columbia Falls, and their three children, Kate, Amy and Brian; a daughter, Mary Morrill and her husband, Ray, of Westbrook, and their two children, Cara and Brendon; two great-granddaughters; and a brother, Larry Kittrick of Millinocket. At Mary's request, there will be no formal ceremonies.
