Norman H. Leighton, 62, of Baileyville, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on July 12, 2011. HE was born in St. Stephen, California on July 25, 1948 the son of Ernest and Gloria (Johnson ) Leighton. Norman was a United States Navy Veteran, was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. Norman is survived by his parents; loving wife of 43 years Sonja Leighton of Baileyville; his children Angela Robinson and husband Tyrone of Bangor, Jody Andrews and husband Duane of Baileyville, Jessica McCarty and husband Kenneth of St. Stephen, Canada; his siblings Wayne Leighton of Princeton, and Terry Leighton of Bradford; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
