Rose Marie's love of art and life was an inspiration. We fondly remember her gallery in Belfast and we collaborated with her when she curated in Portland and she was there to welcome our gallery at its inception 25 years ago! We have thought of her often. Please let Keith and I know when the celebration of life happens. Rose Marie was very warm and loving to us when we had just started our family, knitting our kids sweaters and hats, I have passed on to other family members. She was very kind to us. We can be reached at Zero Station Gallery in Portland- with love from Keith and Jeanne

I often thought of Rose Marie, wondering where she was. When I was fairly new to Maine and beginning my career, she showed a series of my wall relief wood sculptures as part of a group show and made my first big sale, selling three sculptures. She was always so supportive even adding my work to her collection. She loved my husband Julio too, who at the time was a recent immigrant from the DR. Fascinating to see she was born the same year as my own mother, who passed one year ago. Sending our sympathy to you in this sad time. from Anne Alexander and Julio Reynoso
